2. Principles
This website is deliberately built to collect as little data as possible: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and does not embed external services, fonts or third-party content. All files are delivered directly from the hosting provider's web server.
3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer URL and browser and operating system information. This is processed to deliver the website and to ensure stability and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are not combined with other data. The IP address is stored for a maximum of seven days to detect and defend against attacks.
Hosting provider (processor under Art. 28 GDPR): STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. A data processing agreement has been concluded with this provider.
4. Encryption
The website is delivered exclusively via an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS).
5. Contact by email
If you send me an email, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, message content and voluntary details such as a phone number) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law) apply. Providing your data is voluntary; without it, however, I cannot handle your request.

Please do not send passwords or particularly sensitive data unencrypted by email.
6. Disclosure of data
Data is not passed on to third parties, except to the processors named above or where there is a legal obligation. No data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). Just contact me at the email address above.
Right to object: Where I process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
8. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
